Come join us at the 21st Annual Railroad day Festival in the children’s section hosted at the historic Callahan Train Depot , and our partners Be the Change and Joel Pace Piano this special day brings brings together local History through the west historical society with a connection to national heritage with the Smithsonian Institution Exhibit and the Flavors , culture and heart of Nassau County .

Come out bring your family and be part of history in the making. We are so exited to be part of this years Railroad Day Festival and classic Car Show as our community comes together to celebrate history, family and fun. Bread of Love will be there with a special hands -on experience just for the children. Kids will have the opportunity to decorate lunch bags filled with love-bags that will go right back out into our community to help feed other children in need.

Each bag represents kindness in action and may include: fresh sandwiches , a cup of soup. potato chips, fruit cup and a little special surprise.. This is more than an activity - it’s a chance for children to give to each other , to learn compassion, and to be part of something meaningful. And of course we’re bringing the fun too! A brand new Bread of love Prize Wheel, prizes for the kids, candy .coloring pages and a special appearance by the Easter bunny. Come out an, enjoy the festival and stop by our table to decorate,give and share love-one lunch bag at a time. Together we are making a difference . One child. One bag. Once act of kindness.
